it also looks likely that george will be supportin the beautiful south on their upcomin tour of ireland and the uk so keep an eye on that one

a full tour of ireland has now been anounced! check the gig page for details..the album "and so the story goes" is out may 12th and the single "no time for cowboys" is out may 26th

george will be releasing his next song on may 5th with the album following on may 12th which will also be the same day he plays the late late show so make sure 2 tune in!

march 2005...george releases his new song "something outta nothing" march 3rd! also doin a tour of ireland to co-inside with the release! he was also on the cafe march 2nd

jan 2005....george is currently working on his second album in conjuction with top producer mike hedges.we are told its a completly original album and looks likely to be released in march/april of 2006..any info i hear about will be passed on right away!

feb 2006...NEW SINGLE!! georges new single "sumtin outta nothin" is now playin on all good radio stations.its klass and its due for release in march

JAN 2006 ..... george appears on comedy show annoymous! unfortunatly he could not be persuaded to sing a boyzone song by keith duffy but ya just gotta laugh at keiths effort..and the slapping of the ass!!

DEC 2005...... george appears on "christams with the king" which was broadcast on december 26th on rte 1.he sang a cover of elvis's well known song "in the ghetto"

OCTOBER 2005... george tv special "eye to eye...an audience with george murphy" was broadcast on 14th of october at 7.pm on rte 2.it included a sneaky hear of two new songs "round round" and "sweet surrender" takin from his forthcoming album

september 2005..... see's george jet off to japan for some one off gigs in tokyo to celebrate the 5th anniversaire of the roundstone inn!

george also travelled to london to work on the new album
